Gorgeous Kigu vintage pocket ashtray, in a gilt finish. Beautifully made with a spring catch. Excellent condition. I have shown the external and internal view, and you can see how sweet it is. It measures 1.75 inches in diameter.

1953 French magazine French Fashion magazine from 1953
This is Le Petit Echo de la Mode, aimed at the dressmaker and knitter,it is a fantastic look at fashion of the age. It has a knitting pattern for a lovely sweater (if you don't speak French you will need to translate!) There should be a free glove pattern on a couple of the pages but this is now missing. But, it has a great page with how to make patterns for 3 hats, I have shown a picture of this in the link below. Great reference material for the early 50's.

This is an original binder with 15 magazines inside, numbers 47 through to 61. Dating from 1971 when Fanny was at her most popular. Fascinating look at not only the recipes ideas of the period but also the kitchen design and the latest gadgets. A small booklet, one in the 'Starlight' series dating from 1945, detailing the life of Bing Crosby by Leonard Wallace. 16 pages in total, 4 of which contain photos of the star. Originally cost one shilling. In very good condition, no tears just a little dog-eared on the corners.

An original copy of Womans Realm dated October 13th 1962. It features an 8 page booklet on how to achieve the fab hairstyles of that era. The booklet is in perfect condition and the magazine is very good apart from some fading to the front cover.

1950's powder compact 1950's powder compact
Pretty powder compact, almost a match for the manicure set listed below. A nice brass case with pink and gold flower design on the top. The brass case has 'Mascot ASB' stamped on the base and is in lovely condition with the push catch working well, the only blemish is some slight staining to the rose design which I believe shows in the photo.
