50s Chesnut colour real mink stole
So glamorous and stylish. This mink stole is a lovely chesnut colour, with shaped shoulders, has no holes or tears, and has been kept in storage.
It has been relined, hence no original labels, and may even date from the 40s. The back measures 16 inches and the inside (neck) length is 56 inches.

Vintage Smiths wall kitchen clock - CL39
This kitchen wall timepiece made by Smiths was called 'Torre' and manufactured between 1952 and 1961. The plastic case in cream has blue numerals, the dial has matching markers
and hands, and the original pendulum is in blue. These were made in a variety of colourways, blue,red,yellow,brown and gold.The movement is key wound and runs for 8 days and the pendulum can be seen through the lower glass window.
In good condition for its' age with some marking to the plastic case and dial. This timepiece has no strike or chime, it simply tells the time. The
movement has been fully overhauled and serviced. All original and supplied with the original key and pendulum.

A really pretty little china tea strainer and bowl in a pale powder blue with delicate flower design. The strainer measures 4.5 inches long and the overall height with the base is 1.5 inches.

A fab pot plant stand dating from the 50s or early 60s. Made in steel wire, with white paint coating, with 2 holders for pots and 2 shelves for further
plants or knick knacks. Great item, plastic tipped feet still in situ, although the paint coating has suffered some knocks and chips, but will still look fab with a couple of

1950's Smiths small sunburst Clock - CL30This Smiths clock is in a sunray style and the smallest in dimensions of all the sunburst style timepieces, and dates from the early 50s. It has the original platform escapement movement which has been cleaned and serviced and is in perfect working order.The original resin case is also in good order, there are some small scratches to the glass, but not noticable once hung on the wall. A very pretty timepiece. Overall width 8.5 inches. The dial measures 3.5"

1950's Smiths 'Ventnor' sunburst Clock - CL14
This classic Smiths clock is in a sunray style, the design of which was called 'Ventnor'. The 7 jewelled 8 day movement is in perfect working order. The bronze/gold resin case is in very good condition, with a couple of small repaired areas, hardly noticable once the clock is on the wall. This clock has been fully serviced and comes with the original key. Overall width 25 inches.

Retro brass holder containing 8 glasses- PG43
A really stunning set of retro glasses dating from the 50s/60s. Eight large glasses with heavy bases and gorgeous black and gold printed design on the sides. The large brass holder has a teak carry handle, brass ball feet and holds the glasses snugly. All the glasses are in perfect condition with no chips cracks or scratches. Height overall is 8 inches, overall length is 14 inches and each glass measures 3 inches across the rim.

With a multitude of patterns and ideas this great little booklet contains 26 pages of fabulous makes. Including; a circular felt skirt, knitting patterns for sleeveless tops, a sloppy joe jumper,
teapot cosy, placemats, childs knitted swimsuit and teatime apron sewing instructions. I have shown some of the pages in the link below, but lots to read and do, including some great ads from the 50s..

1952 Hoover steam iron - PG0114
Hoover introduced this, the first steam iron, to Britain in 1952 and continued production untill 1962. With bakelite handle and chromed steel body,
this is an icon of Hoover style.
Costing just over £4 when first introduced, it is still an excellent design. This iron is sold for purely decorative purposes and has not been electrically tested and should not be used
unless tested by a qualified person.

Tams tea set - Checkerboard 50s - original box - PG59
This tea set is as new, it has only been out of the box for photography. Made by John Tams Ltd, Staffordshire, this earthenware set
consists of 6 teaplates, 6 saucers and 6 cups. The stencilled design is 'Checkerboard' in a gorgeous blue and white and was manufactured in the late 1950s.

1950s Smiths willow pattern plate timepiece - CL34
This plate wall clock by Smiths of Great Britain was in production between 1953-58. The printed metal plate is in excellent condition considering its' age, with only a minor
blemish under the paint to the right hand side.
The 30 hour movement is fully cleaned and serviced and is key wound from the front, the back cover has an integral hanging loop. The plate measures 10 inches across.

Very pretty hat from the 50s, designed close fitting with shaped petals framing the face. Made in a nylon velour over a stiffened base. There are no fixings, so it will need hair grips to secure. In good condition and no holes.

Another classic, a small leather school satchel. Great retro styling with front pocket and 2 straps. A well used item with previous owners marks inside (see extra pictures) but a great handbag size bag.It measures 11" across, 9" high and 2" deep. The strap measures 40 inches at its longest.

Vintage checks and baskets fabric - L12
Lovely piece of vintage fabric with a soft handle (possibly viscose or rayon). The design is alternating squares 1.25 inches in diameter of red checks and flower baskets. Looks to be 50's or 60's style. This piece of fabric measures 39 inches wide and 27 inches long. In excellent condition, no fading, no holes or tears and the selvedges are intact.

1950's powder compact
Pretty powder compact, almost a match for the manicure set listed further below. A nice brass case with pink and gold flower design on the top. The brass case has 'Mascot ASB' stamped on the base and is in lovely condition with the push catch working well, the only blemish is some slight staining to the rose design which I believe shows in the photo.

1950's Smiths bakelite mantel timepiece - CL11
Bakelite cased mantel clock by Smiths with brass bezel. The case is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and has a lovely shine. The dial is very pretty with star shaped hour hand.This is a striking clock, it strikes the hours and then once on the half hour. The eight day movement is key wound and is totally restored, serviced and working. Comes with key and pendulum.

Smiths display cabinet with clock
A vintage display cabinet from the late 1950's with bow front and featuring a mirrored back panel, transfers to the front glass panel and 2 glass shelves. Standing on 3 cabriole legs. The integral Smiths timepiece runs for 30 hours, the dial is surrounded by a brass bezel and the whole cabinet is in very good order. Height 42.5 inches
