Fab little 1950's boomerang style table. With three tapered beech legs and a black painted wooden top. This little table is designed to fit snugly against the corner of a chair, so that your cuppa is to hand! I believe the top has been repainted at some point, but it in good condition and very unusual. Measures 11.5 inches high.

vintage flower basket fabric Vintage checks and baskets fabric
Lovely piece of vintage fabric with a soft handle (possibly viscose or rayon). The design is alternating squares 1.25 inches in diameter of red checks and flower baskets. Looks to be 50's or 60's style. This piece of fabric measures 39 inches wide and 27 inches long. In excellent condition, no fading, no holes or tears and the selvedges are intact.

1953 French magazine French Fashion magazine from 1953
This is Le Petit Echo de la Mode, aimed at the dressmaker and knitter,it is a fantastic look at fashion of the age. It has a knitting pattern for a lovely sweater (if you don't speak French you will need to translate!) There should be a free glove pattern on a couple of the pages but this is now missing. But, it has a great page with how to make patterns for 3 hats, I have shown a picture of this in the link below. Great reference material for the early 50's.

1950's powder compact 1950's powder compact
Pretty powder compact, almost a match for the manicure set listed further below. A nice brass case with pink and gold flower design on the top. The brass case has 'Mascot ASB' stamped on the base and is in lovely condition with the push catch working well, the only blemish is some slight staining to the rose design which I believe shows in the photo.

Wade deco styled dish Wade deco inspired bowl
Reminiscent of an ocean liner, this lovely bowl is by Wade of England. The outside is in a pale mint green and the inside is glazed in a pale burnt orange. The underside is stamped England and '439'. I have also owned this same design bowl in the 'shooting star' design and believe they date from the mid 1950's. It measures 12 inches long and 5.5 inches high and is in excellent condition no chips or cracks.

Really fab cardi or shawl clip in immaculate unused condition.This clip is still on the original display card,the card is slightly bent and marked, but the clip is in A1 condition. Another classic Smiths clock in a sunray style resin case, the design of which was called 'Shanklin'. Originally fitted with a Smiths sectric electric movement, it now has a quartz movement. In very good condition. Overall width 18 inches.

It has a brass bezel and hands.The 6 inch dial is very attractive with a mirrored gold minute band. The movement strikes the hours and once on the half hour. Fully restored, serviced and working It measures 8 inches tall.
