Vintage 1940's bakelite Enfield mantel clock - CL35
A classic dome top mantel timepiece by Enfield, dating from the 40s. The bakelite case is in fabulous condition, no cracks or chips and with a lovely shine. The chrome bezel is also excellent.
The dial has a couple of minor age related marks,but nothing that detracts from a lovely item. This timepiece has no strike or chime, it simply tells the time. The
movement has been fully overhauled and serviced. All original and supplied with the original key and pendulum.

Retro rectangular wall mirror - circa 1940s-50s - F13
A large rectangular mirror with a patterned bevelled edge on a wooden backboard and original hanging chain.
In excellent condition and with a very attractive design. It measures 23.5 inches in wide and 14 inches high.

1940s Crookes glucose tin - K11
A good vintage tin by Crookes laboratories, Park Royal, London (subsequently taken over by Boots). This tin dates from the early 40s, and once contained 'An energising food'. The tin also has the original
retailers sticker 'Barrs chemists, Kensington'. Good condition. Measures 5.5. inches tall x 3.5 inches wide x 2.5 inches deep.

( a slight spot shown in the picture is a water drop from the steam iron!). It measures 44 inches square

Sweet little bakelite ashtray, made in England, and with 3 lips to rest the cigerette in. Some slight melting marks to the center section, but otherwise in excellent condition. It measures 4 inches across.

Glass dish in peach lustre with frilled edge. This dish really sparkles in the light and is in excellent condition.
This is hard to date but believe it dates from the late 1940s. Bowl measures 8.5 inches wide.

1940s blown glass lampshade -F9
A classic glass shade for a ceiling light, suspended from 3 chains via 3 chromed hooks in the glass. The glass is a lovely pale pinky shade with brown marbled swirls. A lovely shape and colour. In excellent condition. Width 11 inches, height 6 inches excluding chains. The drop is 14.5 inches including chains.

A small booklet, one in the 'Starlight' series dating from 1945, detailing the life of Bing Crosby by Leonard Wallace. 16 pages in total, 4 of which contain photos of the star. Originally cost one shilling. In very good condition, no tears just a little dog-eared on the corners.
