Modernist 1930 Czechoslovakian dressing table
A good example of Czechoslovakian design from 1930. This modernist styled oak veneer dressing table has a floating middle section with drawer and 6 further drawers, 3 either side. The handles and plinths are in a contrasting dark oak finish. The drawer liners are made from curved beech. The full length mirror has a tilting mechanism. This is in very good condition apart from some loss to the silvering at the edge of the mirror and a mark to the veener in the center section. These are not bad enough to detract from the overall appeal and aesthetics and the center mark will be easily covered by a bowl or cloth. The inside of the dressing table is stamped Czechoslovak Manufacture and dated 1930, there is also an indistinct trademark. Please see below for more detailed images. Overall height 59 inches, Width 43 inches.
